Flowers have enchanted Sidney since he was a little boy. Growing up in the Deep South, his grandmother and mother graced his life with the beauty of their own gardens. As a budding artist, Sidney would find himself sitting in those gardens sketching the beautiful blooms that surrounded him. Fast forward to his college days at the Atlanta School of Art and destiny stepped in. Sidney began working in a local flower shop sweeping the floors, answering the phones and being schooled as a floral apprentice.
Sidney would eventually find himself in Los Angeles on the sets of major motion pictures, such as “Princess Diaries 2” and “Monster-In-Law”, Emmy nominated television shows “The West Wing”, “Desperate Housewives” and “The Office” in addition to the pages of national bridal magazines and the red carpets of The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes and The Hollywood Film Festival. LA gave Sidney the opportunity to live in his creativity and experience how the beauty of flowers can create modern day magic.
Sidney moved from Los Angeles and established residency in Saratoga Springs, New York and has since been catering to private clientele for home, special event, wedding and corporate occasions. Sidney has created décor for the Saratoga Performing Arts Center for the past five years including the prestigious SPAC/New York City Ballet Gala, Opera Saratoga Gala, Saratoga Hospital Gala and is currently the resident florist for Salt & Char Restaurant, The Adelphi Hotel and 15 Church Restaurant.
